Master clinicians Shannon McGinnis, piano, and Nicholas Phan, tenor, co-founders of Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago (CAIC) will lead a master class on the songs of Schubert. UC Vocal Studies program students will perform and receive guidance on solo repertoire of this early romantic master, with collaborative pianist Kevin Ren, ’18. Audiences are encouraged to attend this two-hour exploration in lyric artistry. Light reception will follow.
